Heathwood is located 19 kilometers south of Brisbane, adjacent to mature communities such as Calamvale, Algester, and Parkinson. The project is 10 kilometers from the famous Chinese hub, Sunnybank; only 5 kilometers from Sunnybank Hills and Calamvale shopping centers; a 5-minute drive to Forest Lake shopping center; and just 5 kilometers to Richlands train station. Although no major highways pass through the Heathwood area, it is conveniently located close to several of Brisbane's main highways, including the M2 connecting various districts in the west; the M5 connecting the west district and the city center; the M3 connecting the Chinese district and the city center; and the cross-city highway M1 (Sunshine Coast - Brisbane - Gold Coast), all of which are connected to the M2.
